Recent Study Links Smoking to Erectile Dysfunction

A recent study men who smoke(d) in their teens, 20’s and 30’s are more prone to erectile dysfunction then men who smoked for a short period of time, later in life or not at all.

How Smoking Causes Erectile Dysfunction

Cardiovascular disease is a condition that causes the arteries to harden and slows the flow of blood. In this case it slows the flow of blood to the male genital. Another cause link between smoking and erectile dysfunction is smoking causes fat deposits to build up in the causes the arteries to constrict preventing a normal amount of blood flow. Carbon monoxide in the heart and other systems of oxygen which results in more blood flow to the heart and less blood flow to other parts of the body.


Medications and natural therapies do help with erectile dysfunction but it is best to quit smoking for the health your entire body!
