Hi Zedo, Congratulations on
Hi Zedo,
Congratulations on realizing you have an addiction and that you want help that is the first, biggest and hardest step to take. There are both inpatient and outpatient treatment options available for you. Not knowing if you have health insurance or your finical situation makes it difficult to determine which type of treatment you could feasible do.
If you can checking yourself into a rehab facility is your best method of kicking your opioid addiction. You will receive the care, support, supervision, therapy, and any medications that you may need to help you.
If that is not an option talk to your doctor. Recently a new medication was approved by the FDA called Vivitrol it has a great success rate especially when used with detox. It is a shot that is long lasting and given once a week. It is a place to start and with determination (which you seem to have) it could be the answer you are looking for.
