Justin Bieber headed for rehab?

After losing out on a Grammy win and breaking up with his long-time girlfriend, some are speculating that Justin Bieber is turning to drugs and alcohol to cope.

According to a report in Star magazine, the young pop star's "reckless partying has his loved ones scared to death and begging him to enter rehab.”

The story also claims that Bieber is on a downward spiral, and that everyone in his inner circle is participating in an intervention. Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette is reported to be enlisting the help of ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez to help "talk some sense into him."

“She’s at her wits' end and hopes that Selena can still have an affect on Justin," the story reported.

The tabloid also states that Bieber had a "drug-fueled" hookup with a student named Mimi Jenson. The source of the story states that Bieber's mom has access to the best addiction counselors and will get the help her son needs.

Photos of Justin allegedly smoking marijuana at a hotel party surfaced last month, sparking the rumors that Bieber might have a problem with drugs. His response via Twitter did not directly address the rumors: "Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up.”
