The "alcoholic" label scares off many problem drinkers who want to get help, says Marc Kern, who is on the board of directors of Moderation Management... "Some people really do need to stop, but a lot of people are not getting help that could reduce the amount (of alcohol they drink) because we all give them the either/or message," Kern says.
